BEAVERTON RESIDENT BURIED IN DALE

   Services for Mrs. Nellie Dunham, 81, were held on Tuesday, July 6, at the 
Dale Methodist church with burial in the Dale cemetery. The Rev. John Scott of 
the Gladwin Methodist church officiated. Mrs. Dunham passed away at the home 
of her daughter, Mrs. Abbie Paxton in Sheridan township, Clare county, on 
Saturday. She was born in Watertown, New York on July 7, 1866 and was married 
to Merrill Dunham, who died in 1939. She has been a resident of the Beaverton 
community for about 48 years.
   Surviving are one son, Guy Dunham, of Caro; four daughters, Mrs. Nina 
Ayers, Angola, Indiana, Mrs. Abbie Paxton, of Clare, Mrs. Isabel Glidden, of 
Mt. Morris and Mrs. Helen Barton, of Flint; one brother, Elias Lampson, of 
Saginaw; two sisters, Miss Abbie Lampson, of Flint and Mrs. Effie McKimmy, of 
Hudson; also, 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
