A retired oil worker, he was born Oct. 7, 1889, in Blufton, Ohio, coming to Gladwin County in 1926. He was married to the former Ottie Malosh in 1950 at Sand Lake. Surviving besides his widow, are a daughter, Mrs. Etta Jean Hughes, of Detroit; four step-sons, John and Edward Malosh, of Beaverton, Richard Malosh of Gladwin and Donald Malosh of Flint; two step-daughters, Mrs. Berniece Davis, Manitou Beach, and Mrs. Helen Rise of Lake; three grandchildren and three sisters. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Beaverton Methodist Church with the Rev. Gordon Showers officiating. Burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
