Elzay, 82, of 503 Lang Rd., Beaverton, died suddenly of a heart attack at her home Wednesday, Feb. 23. Born in Paulding County, Ohio, on August 30, 1900, had spent most of her life in Gladwin County. She was a member of the Beaverton United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in Harrison. The former Ottie Perry, she was married to Ralph E Malosh March 5, 1919. He died June 14, 1943. She married Curt Elzay in November 1950 and he preceded her in death May 24, 1961. Surviving are 4 sons, John and Edward of Beaverton, Donald of Flint and Richard of Gladwin; 2 daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Berniece) Davis of Harrison and Mrs Alvin (Helen) Rise of Silver Springs, Fla.; 2 brothers, Sheridan of Spokane, Wash, and Jessie of Hazel Park; 2 sisters, Mrs. Vesta Conley of Mexico Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Mae Smith of Bradenton, Fla.; 26 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren. Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
