Cora Louise Evanson, 79, of Beaverton, died Sunday, Oct. 21, in Phoniex, Ariz. 
Born in Minto, N.D. on July 31, 1905, she had lived in Gladwin County 30 
years. The former Cora Ingalls, she was married to Sherman Fassett Sept. 16, 
1924, in Glasgow, Mont. He preceded her in death Jan. 15, 1956. She then 
married Oscar Evanson on Jan. 16, 1965 and he died Sept. 19, 1977.
   Surviving are 6 sons, Kenneth of Coleman, Richard and David of Gladwin, 
Gordon of Midland, Robert and Sherman of Beaverton; 6 daughters, Mrs. Paul 
(Betty) Mishler, Mrs. Larry (Laveta) Anderson and Mrs. Delwin (Mary Lou) 
Voller of Apache Junction, Ariz.; Mrs. Duaine (Irene) Dennett of Wichita, 
Kan., Mrs. Raymond (Nancy) McClain of Pea Ridge, Ark. and Mrs. Leonard 
(Janice) Govitz of Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Ollie Pointer of Nashua, Minn.; 
38 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. A daughter, Kathleen Fassett, 
preceded her in death May 7, 1955.
   A memorial service will be held at the Beaverton Church of the Brethren 
Friday at 2 p.m. A private burial service will be held later at the Dale 
Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church of the Brethren.
