MRS. CLAUD FAIRCHILD DIES IN DETROIT

   Mrs. Claud Fairchild died at her home in Detroit New Year's Day. Services 
were held at her home there Friday morning and here at Dale Methodist Saturday 
afternoon and burial was made in the Dale cemetery. Rev. Harold Hodgson of the 
Methodist church officiated. Chloe Bergman was born May 16, 1882, in Ohio.
   Surviving besides her husband are four sons, Floyd, Clare, Ward and Dick, 
all of Detroit; two daughters, Maxine at home an Mildred Krieger of 
Prudenville; two sisters, Laura Quelet and Nora Mishlers of here, two brothers 
Lawrence and Ralph Bergman, also of Beaverton; two uncles, Eber Bergman, of 
Helena, Ohio; Harvey Thomas of Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
