FAIRCHILD RESIDENCE AT DALE DESTROYED BY FIRE 
The home of D. W. Fairchild at Dundas Corners was completely destroyed by fire 
Thursday noon. Sparks from the chimney caught in the roof and before it was 
discovered the second story was all on fire. Some things were saved. No 
insurance. The Fairchilds are staying temporary at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

   Daniel Fairchild passed away at his home at Dundas corners Friday. Mr. 
Fairchild has been a resident of Gladwin County 50 years. Funeral at the Dale 
church Sunday at 2 o'clock with burial at the Dale cemetery. Source: Gladwin
