BEAVERTON TOWNSHIP MAN DIES AT HOME

   Frank E. Fessell, 69, of Beaverton townshiip, died at his home on Tuesday, 
July 23. A Gladwin county farmer for 22 years. Mr. Fessel was born in West 
Salem, Illinois, on February 13, 1888. He was married to the former Miss Helen 
Brown on August 9, 1927, at Metamora. 
   Survivors include his wife, Helen; one son, Earl, and one daughter, Mrs. 
Oral Arndt, both of Seattle, Wash.; one brother, Gilbert, of East St. Louis, 
Ill.; five sisters, Mrs. Charles Higgins of West Salem, Ill., Mrs. Alvin 
Hinderliter and Mrs. Ralph Siebert, of Lancaster, Ill., Mrs. Grace Kingsbury 
of Round Lake, Ill., and Mrs. Rolla Strohm of St. Petersburg, Fla.
   Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall 
Funeral Home. The Rev. Verne Summers will officiate and burial will be in Dale 
cemetery.
