Funeral services were held from the Dale church with burial in the Dale cemetery. The Rev. Alva Pendleton, of Beaverton officiating. Kate Nobel, was born in 1859 in Drumore, Ireland, the daughter of William and Mary Nobel. She came to Lyons, Ohio, at the age of 17 to make her home with the Rynd family. On September 8, 1910 she was married to William Foster, at Wauseon, Ohio. They came to Michigan and settled on their farm in Tobacco township, until the time of Mr. Foster's death in 1931. Later Mrs. Foster moved to Gladwin, and has made her home with Mrs. Emrick for the past nine months. Mrs. Foster leaves no living relatives but many dear friends.
