Mrs. Louisa E. Foster, 83, of 1775 N. Eastman Rd. Midland died Thursday, Aug. 
16, 1990, in the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center, Midland after a long 
illness. Born in Jay County, Ind., Dec. 14, 1906, she moved to Midland County 
in September 1989, after 21 years in Beaverton. The former Louisa Thorton, she 
was married to Gail Foster, July 3, 1925, in Midland. He preceded her in death 
Dec. 19, 1989.
   Surviving are 2 sons, George of Hope and Richard of Sanford; one daughter, 
Mrs. Robert (Carole) Towner of St. Helen; one sister, Sophia Malony of 
Midland; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. A son, Robert, preceded 
her in death. 
   Rites were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Janet Larner officiated and burial was in the Tobacco 
Township Cemetery.
