Mrs. Freeman, whose home was at 1683 Knox Road, in Tobacco Township, was born in Braceville, Ohio, Oct. 4, 1884. She was married to Garfield Freeman January 24, 1901, in Tobacco Township. Her maiden name was Alice Ray. Mrs. Freeman was a member of the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. Surviving are her husband, Garfield; two sons, Harold and John, both of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Geraldine) Simpson of Saginaw; two brothers, Edward Ray of Gladwin and Harry Ray of Midland; seven grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. One son is deceased. Services were held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Henry List and the Rev. Arthur Whislere officiating. Interment was in Dale Cemetery.
