Gladwin County Record
Darlene E. Freeman, age 52, of Beaverton died April 4, 2003 at University 
Hospitals in Ann Arbor after a short illness. She was born to Norman and Delta 
Miller on Nov. 20, 1950, in Detroit. She was a bookkeeper with the Family 
Independence Agency in Gladwin. She lived in Gladwin County since 1972, having 
previously resided in Farmington Hills. On Sept. 28, 1974 she married Louis 
Freeman in Beaverton. 

She is survived by her husband, Louis of Beaverton; daughters Erin (Jason) 
Pacholke of Freeland, and Melissa Freeman of Beaverton; mother, Della Miller 
of Gladwin; brothers Phillip Miller of Gladwin, Robert Miller of Beaverton, 
and Edward Miller of Gladwin; sisters, Deanna Day and Denise Hall, both of 
Gladwin; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 
father. 

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at Hall 
Funeral Home in Beaverton, Pastor Brad Withrow officiating. Burial took place 
in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery.
