Mr. Freeman was born in Genesee county on June 24, 1874 and is a retired farmer. He had been at the nursing home for the past 15 months. Surviving are three brothers, Eugene, George and Garfield Freeman, all of Beaverton. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Dale Methodist church with the Rev. J. P. Hollopeter officiating. Burial was made in the Dale cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl Blades, Dewey Blades, Clifton Paxton, Charles Scoby, Doyle McKimmy and Ed Henry.
