Mrs. Ruth E. Freeman, 93, of 4049 Wagner Rd., Beaverton, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 
in the Midland Hospital Center following a short illness. Born in Flushing on 
May 22, 1886, she came to Gladwin County in 1902. Mrs. Freeman was a member of 
the Dale United Methodist Church. She was married to Eugene Freeman Sr. on 
June 7, 1905, in Tobacco Township. He preceded her in death January 10, 1972.
   Surviving are one son, Eugene Jr. of Beaverton; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ruey 
Blades of Beaverton and Mrs. Cecil (Rhoda) Cole of Midland; 10 grandchildren; 
20 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren. Services were held 
today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The 
Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
