Friday-Hund, 85, of Beaverton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at home, surrounded by her loving family after a short illness. She was born July 28, 1922, to William and Laura (Fox) Measel in Gladwin. She was a lifelong resident of Gladwin County. Mildred was a loving and caring homemaker and loved working in her beautiful flower garden, She was a member of the ladies auxiliary V.F.W. Post 7303 and a Blue Star mother. She was also a devoted member of the Beaverton Church of the Nazarene for 50 years. Mildred married Arthur E. Friday in 1942, he predeceased her in 1946. She then married Clifford O. Hund on Nov. 28, 1947.         She is survived by her husband, Clifford Hund of Beaverton; her children, Daniel and Patricia Friday of Beaverton, James Friday of Coleman, Dwight Friday of Beaverton, Ronald and Bonnie Friday of Beaverton, Maxine and Wayne Carbeno of Coleman, Arlene and Paul Thorp of Sanford and Dixie Hund of Pinconning; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Arthur E. Friday; sisters, Nellie and Choyce McColley and Laura and Calvin Parkin; brother, Lawrence and Ester Measel; and special daughter-in-law, Christine Friday.        Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, 11 a.m. at the Beaverton Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Beaverton Cemetery, Beaverton. Visitation will be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, 440 E. Cedar Ave., Beaverton.
