CLARENCE FRITZ DIES IN FLORIDA

   Clarence M. Fritz, 83, of Hay Township, died Friday in Orlando, Fla., 
following an illness of two weeks. Born in Vestaburg on Nov. 18, 1883, he had 
resided in Gladwin County for the past 65 years. Mr. Fritz was a retired Dow 
worker and janitor at the Winegars school. He was married to the former Bertha 
Ingles on Dec. 23, 1905, in Standish. She preceded him in death on May 18, 
1959.
   Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Peter Gee of Beaverton; one son, C. Gordon 
of Midland; two brothers, Len of Deatroit and Nolan of Atlanta; 10 
grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Services were held today, Wednesday, 
at 2 p.m. from the Gladwin Free Methodist Church. The Rev. Charles Allen and 
F. E. Voller officiated, with burial in the Arbutus Cemetery.
