Rick Fritz, 20, of 2398 Long Rd., Beaverton, died Thursday, July 20, in Bay 
City. Born in Gladwin on May 8, 1958, he attended Gladwin, Beaverton and Bay 
City schools. He served in the U.S. Army in 1976.
   Surviving are his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Orley Fritz of 
Midland; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Levere Doan of Beaverton; his 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Snyder of Germfask and Mr. and Mrs. Ted 
Bennett of Evart; 2 half-brothers, Orley and Tony Fritz of Bay City; a half-
sister, Dianna Doan of Beaverton, Gordon, Charles and Michael Fritz of 
Midland; and 2 step-sisters, Mrs. Lon (Fonda) Ricky of Gladwin and Lori Doan 
of Beaverton.
   Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. 
Clarence Moore officiated and burial was in the Arbutus Cemetery.
