Mae E. Fruchey, 91, of 4003 Howard Rd., Gladwin, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the 
Gladwin Area Hospital following a long illness. Born in Brown City Dec. 15, 
1892, she had spent her lifetime in Gladwin County. The former Mae Foster, she 
was married to George Fruchey Oct. 2, 1912, in Gladwin. He preceded her in 
death July 22, 1974.
   Surviving are one son, Arthur of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn 
Overfield of Beaverton; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 great 
great grandchildren. Rites were held Friday at 3 p.m. from the Hall Funeral 
Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the 
Beaverton Cemetery.
