Born May 22, 1916 in Lansing, she was the daughter of Chauncey and Mary Ann 
(Summerville) Richardson. She lived in Gladwin County most of her life. She 
was a homemaker and a member of the Gladwin Assembly of God Church. Elizabeth 
married John Govitz, Jan. 6, 1932 in Gladwin. He preceded her in death in 
1961. 
   Surviving are four daughters, Louise and husband Emmett Johnson of Gladwin, 
Jean and husband Rollie Harger Jr., and Sharon Govitz, all of Beaverton, and 
Betty and husband jack Scully of Northridge, Calif.; five sons, Kenneth and 
wife Patricia, Lenard and wife Janice, Richard and wife Carol, and Duane and 
wife Dawn, all of Beaverton, and John and wife Jennette of Gladwin; 21 
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; 
several nieces and nephews; and a beloved friend, Joseph Badder of Genesee. 
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia L. Govitz; and three 
brothers. Services will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday) at Hall Funeral 
Home, Beaverton with Rev. Duane Koontz officiating. Burial will be in 
Beaverton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite 
charity.
