Gladwin County Record Sep. 16,1987
Chester Burnard Grant, 42, of Farwell, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, in Central 
Michigan Community Hospital, Mt.Pleasant, of injuries recieved in an auto 
accident in Isabella County. Born in Michigan Dec. 8, 1944, he was a pipe 
fitter in construction. Surviving are one daughter, Charlotte Williams of 
Farwell; one son, Brian of Farwell; 3 brothers, Ronald and Dwain of Beaverton 
and Leroy of Gladwin; 5 sisters, Sarah Fike of Bridgeport, Gladys Dolfi of 
Wayne, Etta Karklin of Beaverton, Loretta Fisher of Spruce, Ardith Damzyn of 
Tempe Ariz.; and close friend, Gloria Reis of Farwell. A brother Ernest Gower 
preceded him in death. Rites were held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Coker 
Funeral Home, Farwell. Barial was in Surrey Township Cemetary.
