Vi Grant, 72, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away Aug. 24, 2003 at MidMichigan 
Medical Center - Midland following a short illness. She was born June 21, 1931 
to Kenneth and Naola Mae (Archbold) Gunderman in Isabella County. Vi worked as 
a secretary for Brown Machine in Beaverton. She married Leroy Grant on June 6, 
1950 in Angola, Indiana.
   She is survived by her husband, Leroy of Beaverton; daughters Sue and Joe 
Mishler of Sanford and Jan and Ken Hudson of Beaverton; sons Tom and Marcy 
Grant of Beaverton, and Dan and Patty Grant of Beaverton; grandchildren Jeni 
and Mark Grove, Sally and Jason Hitsman, Laura and Gavin Brandon, Missy and 
Ryan Schmidt, Mindy and Brent Mercer, Adam Mishler and special friend Amanda 
Opbroek, Kurt Mishler and fiance Erin Faber, Becky Grant, Lindsey and Greg 
Grant-DeLisle, Lacey Grant, Matt Hudson and fiance Allison Cotter, and Alyssa 
Hudson; great-grandchildren Grant Brandon, Hunter Mercer and Brainne Mishler; 
brothers Rolland and Leora Gunderman of Clare and Glen and Arlene Gunderman of 
Clare; sister Goldie and Nuke Rodgers of Clare; and several and nephews. She 
was predeceased by her parents.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003 at Hall Funeral Home in 
Beaverton with Rev. Henry List officiating. Burial took place in Tobacco 
Township (Dale) Cemetery in Beaverton. Visitation was held Monday at the 
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Relay for Life or 
Beaverton R.I.F. Program.
