Gladwin County Record
Cecil "Roy" Green, 82, of Beaverton, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000 at MidMichigan 
Medical Center-Midland following a short illness. Born March 29, 1917 in 
Midland County, he lived in Gladwin County since 1945 and previously lived in 
Midland. 
Cecil married Bertha (Bishop), Dec. 23, 1939 in Byron. She preceded him in 
death Oct. 5, 1995. He was a laborer for Frank Bliss in Gladwin, retiring in 
1982. 
Surviving are two sons, John and wife Elaine of Revere, Ma., and Eugene of 
Gladwin; one daughter, Betty and husband David Boggess of Brighton; 11 
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by three 
brothers and four sisters. 
Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Daniels Band in 
Beaverton.
