Mrs. Marie M. Geer, 76, of Beaverton, died suddenly Sunday, Sept. 21, at her 
home at 316 Glidden Road. Born in Alfred Station, N.Y., on February 1, 1899, 
she had lived in Gladwin County most of her life. Mrs. Geer was a member of 
the Beaverton Church of The Brethren, Dale-Billings Ladies Aid and the Gladwin 
County Farm Bureau. The former Marie Mogg, she was married to Jerry C. Geer on 
November 25, 1914, in Midland. He preceded her in death on October 23, 1963.
   Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Dorothy) McMahon and Mrs. 
Edwin (Deora) Oliver, both of Beaverton; seven granddaughters; and 11 great 
grandchildren. A son also preceded her in death. Services were held today, 
Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Henry 
List and Rev. Arthur Whisler officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. 
Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton.
