Agnes W. Grohoski, , 82, of Beaverton, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999 at the home 
of her grandchildren, Bob, Lori, and Krystal Fritcher in Beaverton after a 
long illness. 
Born Aug. 29, 1917 in Bridgeport, Ala., she lived in Gladwin County since 1970 
and previously lived in Flint.  Agnes married Edward S. Grohoski, Nov. 23, 
1935 in Flint. He preceded her in death Sept. 25, 1986. She worked in the 
Adult Education Department of Mott Foundation in Flint, retiring in 1972 after 
20 years.  She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, past president of 
the Highwood Senior Citizen Club, and member of the Gladwin County Home 
Extension Club. 
   Surviving are one son, James and wife Beth of Flint; one daughter, Sandra 
and husband Gary Fritcher of Smyrna, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. 
   Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday) at St. Anne’s Catholic 
Church in Edenville with Rev. Father Todd Arnberg of St. Anne’s Catholic 
Church officiating. Burial will be in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery in 
Beaverton. 
Friends may call at the Hall Funeral Home-Beaverton Chapel today (Wednesday) 
noon until 9 p.m. A scripture service will be held at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday) 
at the funeral home. A Legion of Mary Rosary will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow 
(Thursday) at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Edenville.
