Betty A. Grove, 64, of Beaverton, died suddenly Friday, Aug. 25, 2000 at the 
University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor. Born May 2, 1936 in 
Beaverton, she was the daughter of the late William and Laura (Conklin) Grant. 
Betty married Allen Darwin Grove, July 1, 1955 in Beaverton. She was a member 
of the Dale First United Methodist Church.
   Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Timothy and wife Robin, 
and Rodney and wife Lori, all of Beaverton; two daughters, Mary Beth and 
husband Larry Zelt of Gladwin, and Sheila and husband Dennis Piegols of Hope; 
four brothers, Roy Grant, Bert Grant, Bill Grant, and Richard Grant, all of 
Beaverton; two sisters, Eva Fuller of Ann Arbor and Leora Gunderman of Clare; 
and nine grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbert Grant. Services were held 
Tuesday at the Sisson Funeral Home with Pastors Fred LeMere and David Stewart 
officiating. Burial was in the Dale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the 
Dale First United Methodist Church.
