Gladwin County Record dated 10-30/1985 Column - 3 Page - 2
Clement T. Garnsey, 95, of 3219 Lang Rd. Beaverton, died at his home Friday, 
Oct. 25, after a long illness. Born in Lenawee County April 11, 1890, he came 
to Gladwin County in 1900. He was a school teacher for 30 years with the last 
9 as principal at the Winegar School. Mr. Garnsey retired in 1953. He was 
married to the former Edna Todd May 8, 1927, in Beaverton.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Ira of Beaverton; one sister, 
Mrs. Grace Smith of Shepherd; and a grandson. Services were held Monday at 1 
p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Bruce Hatch 
officiated and burial was in the Tobacco Township Cemetery.
