CLARENCE LEROY GUERNSEY Edith Myrtle Guernsey died Dec. 13 at her home in Tobacco township, a victim of influenza. She was born Aug. 17, 1892, in Lenawee county. Services were held Dec. 16, conducted by W. B. Neff. Burial in Dale cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 12-19/1918 Column - 4 Page - 5 Mrs. Edith Myrtle Guernsey was born Aug. 7, 1892, in Lenawee county, Michigan, where at the age of 13 years she became a member of The Church of the Brethren. When 17 years of age she married C. LeRoy Guernsey of Beaverton, Mich., and a year later moved with her husband to Gladwin county where they lived until the time of her death, caused by influenza, Dec. 13, 1918. Funeral services were held at her home Dec. 16. 1918, Interment at Dale cemetery. She is mourned by her husband C. LeRoy Guernsey, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac McKimmy, a sister, Nina, two brothers, Clifford and Otis, also by many friends in both Lenawee and Gladwin counties.
