Mrs. Myrtle M. Hair, 66, of 1145 E. Norway St., Hope, died suddenly Monday, 
Dec. 22, in the Midland Hospital Center. Born in Gladwin County on July 7, 
1914, she moved back to the area in 1974 from the tri-cities area. The former 
Myrtle Decker, she was married to Ted Hair Sr. on March 3, 1933, in South 
Bend, Ind.
   Surviving besides her husband are, 4 sons, Ted Jr. of Beaverton, Larry of 
Bay City, Rodney of Rhodes and Steven of Hope; one brother, Dennis McGuire of 
Alma; 3 sisters, Mrs. Vesta Devereaux of Hope, Mrs. Geraldine Scigliano of Mt. 
Morris and Mrs. Wanda Sempsrott of Perry; 13 grandchildren and 2 great 
grandchildren. 
   Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. Burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
