Vern L. Hale,74, of 3925 McCulloch Rd. Beaverton died Thursday, Dec.14,1989 in 
Flint Osteopathic Hospital after a long illness.Born in Clare Co. July 
16,1915, he had spent his lifetime in Clare & Gladwin Counties. Mr.Hale was a 
machine operator for Robinson Industries in the Bead Board Dept. for 17 yrs. 
until retiring in 1977. Mr. Hale & the former Dorothy Whitman were married 
Aug. 28,1938 in Beaverton. Besides his wife, he is survived by 3 sons; William 
& Rick of Gladwin & Leo of Beaverton.4 daughters: Mrs. Donald (Barbara) 
Hagenbaugh.& Mrs. R.C. (Bea) Brubaker of Beaverton. Helen Miller of Burton and 
Mrs. Curtis(Judy) Wilbanks of Fenton; 2 brothers, Gordon of Gladwin & Loren of 
Harrison. 19 grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren & 9 
step-great grandchildren. He was proceded in death by one son, James, 
Nov.28,1948 & 2 brothers, Ora Jr. and Arnold. Survices were held Saturday at 
2p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel with Rev. Jerry Stoner 
officiating. The body was cremated.

Additional Comments:
My uncle Vern died from prostate cancer.
