Gladwin County Record
Bonnie B. Hammond, 69, of Beaverton, died Friday, March 23, 2001. She lived in 
Gladwin County most of her life. Born Sept. 23, 1931 in Midland, she was the 
daughter of Carl and Alice Bower. Bonnie married Clair C. Hammond, June 3, 
1948 in St. Louis. He preceded her in death Aug. 19, 1999. She was a clerk for 
Agins Dime Store until 1985 and then a clerk for Beaverton Pharmacy. She 
enjoyed bowling, camping, and crafts. 
Surviving are one son, James C. and wife Denise of Beaverton; one daughter, 
Terry and husband John Noyes of Beaverton; six grandchildren; one great-
grandchild; one brother, Don Bower of Beaverton; and two sisters, Virginia 
Bard of Beaverton and Betty Kidder of Maine. She was preceded in death by her 
parents. 
Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar River Chapel, Beaverton with 
Pastor Paul Kile officiating. Burial was in Arbutus Cemetery in Beaverton. 
Memorial contributions may be made to be used according to the wishes of the 
family. Hall Funeral Home of Gladwin and Beaverton, was in charge of the 
arrangements.
