R. C. HARGROVE DIES AT BATTLE CREEK SUDDENLY

   R. C. Hardgrove of Beaverton died March 20, 1934 at Battle Creek at the 
home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Arnett, after an illness of two days. 
Hardgrove was born in California in 1857, and has been a resident of Beaverton 
several years. The Hardgroves were spending the winter with their daughters at 
Battle Creek and Marshall. 
   He is survive by his wife, Violet  E.  Hardgrove of Beaverton; two 
daughters, Mrs. Edward Arnett of Battle Creek, and Mrs. Conners of Marshall; 
and two sons, Shelby Hardgrove of Haydenville, Ohio, and Geo. Hardgrove of 
Nelsonville, Ohio. Services were held at the Methodist church at Beaverton, 
conducted by Rev. Mr. Norton, Thursday, March 22, at 1:30 p.m. Burial was at 
Dale cemetery.
