Gladwin County Record dated 04-05/1978 Column - 3 Page - 2 
Margaret Clara Hartner, 64, of 5565 S. M-18, Beaverton, died Friday, March 31, 
in the Clare Osteopathic Hospital following a short illness. Born in Buena 
Vista Township, Saginaw County, on September 6, 1913, she came to Gladwin 
County in 1961. She was a member of the County Farm Bureau and the Lutheran 
faith. THe former Margaret Dietrich, she was married to Max C. Hartner on 
January 1, 1935, in Reese.
   Surviving besides her husband are 2 sons, Orville and Max of Beaverton; 3 
daughters, Mrs. Robert (Delenor) Bell of Linwood; Mrs. Otto (Phyllis) Jury and 
Mrs. Dale (Brenda) Fox of St. Johns; her mother, Mrs. Margaret Dietrich of 
Saginaw; and 10 grandchildren.
   Services were held Monday, at 1:30 p.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The 
Rev. Herbert Biermann officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
