Martha A. Havens, 77, of 700 W. Knox Rd., Beaverton, died suddenly Friday, 
Dec. 14, in the Midland Hospital Center. Born in Plant, Ark., on Aug. 14, 
1907, she moved to Gladwin County in 1934 from Flint. She was a member of the 
Beaverton Church of the Brethren. The former Martha Hulbert, she was married 
to Marion Havens July 28, 1928, in Bowling Green, Ohio.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Allan, of Beaverton; 2 
daughters, Mrs. Neal (Sally) Adgate of Muir and Letha Havens of Midland; one 
brother, Floyd of Hemet, Calif.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Louise Todd of Tulsa, Okla. 
and Mrs. Helen Caldwell of Flint; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
   Services were held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the Beaverton Church of the 
Brethren. The Rev. Randall Roose officiated and burial was in the Dale 
Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
