Gladwin County Record dated 11-25/1981 Column - 3 Page - 2   
Dorothy J. Henry, 66, of 4541 Freeman Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, Nov. 23, in 
the Midland Hospital Center. Born in Edenville on July 12, 1915, she attended 
Gladwin schools and graduated in 1932. She moved to Beaverton in 1947 from 
Hope. Mrs. Henry was a charter member and active in the Beaverton Baptist 
Church. The former Dorothy Boman, she was married to Ed Henry in 1936, in 
Gladwin. 
   Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Byron (Janet) 
Vannest of Gladwin and Michele Henry of Harrison; 2 sons, James of Ovid and 
Richard of Gladwin; 3 brothers, Travis and LaVerne of Gladwin and Harold of 
Midland; 3 sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Matthews of Flint; Mrs. Gene Reithel of Hope 
and Mrs. Ida Belle DeCarlo of Gladwin; and 8 grandchildren.
   Services were held today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Beaverton-Baptist 
Church. The Rev. Duane Lindsay officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. 
Arrangements were in charge of the Mathews Funeral Home.
