Kenneth R. Herman, 57, of 1198 Guernsey Rd., Beaverton, died suddenly Monday, 
Feb. 11, at his home of a heart attack. Born in Saginaw Nov. 17, 1927, he came 
to Gladwin County in 1972. Mr. Herman operated Ken's Auto Electric in 
Beaverton the past 10 years. He was married to the former Ethel M. Hitchcock 
June 17, 1972, in Beaverton.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 step-sons, Duane Forshee of Midland 
and Keith Forshee of Washington State; 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Judy Camp of 
California and Mrs. Beverly Whitmer of Beaverton; 4 brothers, Vernard of 
Saginaw, Harold, Norman and Andrew of Midland; 3 sisters, Mrs. Betty Riggie 
and Mrs. Donna Kenyon of Midland and Mrs. Shirley Currie of Plainwell; and 10 
grandchildren.
   Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Brian Wright will officiate and burial will be in 
the Tobacco Township Cemetery.
