Higley, 64, of Beaverton, died suddenly, Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997 at St. Lukes Medical Center-Saginaw. Born June 11, 1933 in Gladwin County she also lived in Flint. The former Audrey Spink married Norman Higley, Jan. 26, 1966 in Gladwin. He preceded her in death March 1993. She had been employed as a homemaker in her own home. Audrey was a member of the Beaverton Presbyterian Church, current treasurer of VFW 7303 auxiliary and current senior vice. Surviving are one daughter, Reuby Davis; two brothers, Stanley Priest of Beaverton of Beaverton and Perry Priest of Flint; two sisters, Erma Koss of River Rouge and Delores Jacobs of Chino Valley, Az.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Beaverton Presbyterian Church in Beaverton with Rev. Donald Keen officiating. Burial was in Beaverton Cemetery in Beaverton. A special memorial services was held by VFW Auxiliary 7303, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Beaverton Presbyterian Church.
