ERNEST HILL DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

   Ernest Lester Hill, 44, died at the Gladwin Hospital on Sunday December 23, 
after an illness of about five years. Funeral services were held Wednesday, at 
2 p.m. at the Latter Day Saints church, in Beaverton, with Elder S. T. 
Pendleton, officiating. Burial was in the Dale cemetery. Mr. Hill was born in 
Paulding county, Ohio, on November 13, 1901, and has lived on a farm near 
Beaverton for the past 30 years.
   Surviving are his wife, Nalla Mae, and one son, Albert E., at home, a twin 
brother, Leo, in Detroit and another brother, Sgt. Grant Hill, stationed in 
England; three sisters, Mrs. Gwen Mackey, of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Villau Hawn, 
of Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Mary LaVeque, of Saginaw.
