Gladwin County Record dated 12-14/1955 Column - 7 Page - 1
Leo C. Hill, 54, of Beaverton, died Friday at the Clare General hospital 
following a one year illness. He was employed at the Dow Chemical plant in 
Midland. Mr. Hill was born in Paulding county, Ohio, Nov. 13, 1901 and came to 
Beaverton nine years ago from Detroit. He was married to the former Miss Ida 
Mae Rippberger. He was a member of the Beaverton Latter Day Saints Church.
   Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Lauretta Wiltse of Beaverton, 
and Mrs. Vivian Kintner of Gladwin; four grandchildren; one brother, Grant 
Hill of Seattle, Wash.; three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd LaVeque of Saginaw, Mrs. 
Nicholas Mackey of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Ralph Hawn of Cleveland, Ohio.
   Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Latter Day 
Saints Church of Beaverton with the Elder Harold Keeley officiating. Burial 
was in the Beaverton cemetery.
