NEW RESIDENT DIES MONDAY

   Mrs. Rose Marie Hitchcock, 49, of Beaverton and St. Louis; died suddenly 
Monday, May 5, in the Alma Community Hospital. She and her husband had just 
moved to their home on Benchley Drive, Beaverton, over the week-end from St. 
Louis. The former Rose Breslin, she was born in Lansing on Feb. 24, 1920. She 
was married to Harrison Hitchcock on Nov. 3, 1947, in Norwalk, Ohio.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Norene, at home; one 
brother, Raymond, of Framingham, Mass.; and one sister, Mrs. Roberta L. 
Schroeder, of Midland. Rites were held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the 
Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Father Edward Trombley officiated and burial was 
in the Dale Cemetery. A Rosary was said Tuesday evening at the Hall Funeral 
Home.
