ZACK HOLYCROSS RITES TODAY

   Zack H. Holycross, 76, of Beaverton Township, died Monday Dec. 4, at the 
home of his daughter, Mrs. Peter Bobb, following an illness of a year. A 
farmer, until his retirement, Mr. Holycross had been a resident of Gladwin 
County for 53 years. He was born Aug. 20, 1891, in Union County, Ohio. He and 
the former Blanche Conklin were married Sept. 21, 1916, in Midland County. She 
preceded him in death in 1937.
   Survivors are his daughter, Doreen (Mrs. Bobb) of Beaverton Township; a 
sister, Mrs. Bertha Green of Marysville, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
   Services were held today (Wednesday) at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home 
with the Rev. A. H. Keesler officiating. Burial is in the Beaverton Cemetery.
