GEORGE HOOPER 91, PASSES

   Funeral services for George C. Hooper, 91, of Beaverton, who died Tuesday 
evening after a short illness, will be Friday. Mr. Hooper was born in 
Castleton, Ontario, Nov. 11, 1873, and came to Gladwin County 66 years ago. 
Before that he had lived in Edenville. He married the former Miss Margaret 
Molter August 13, 1989, in Beaverton. She preceded him in death April 29 of 
this year.
   His survivors are three sons, Earl and Fred, of Beaverton, Glen of Coleman; 
three daughters, Mrs. Mina Metcalf, Mrs. Rose Davis, Mrs. Edith Wilkinson, all 
of Beaverton; a brother James; two sisters, Miss Rose Hooper and Miss Flora, 
all of Saginaw; 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and four great great 
grandchildren.
   Services will be held in the Beaverton Church of the Brethren at 2 p.m. 
Friday and burial wil be in the Dale Cemetery. The Rev. Randall Roose will 
officiate.
