Ora Jane Hooper, 47, of Tobacco Township, died suddenly Thursday, April 24, 
1997 at MidMichigan Regional Medical Center-Gladwin. Born Nov. 15, 1949 in 
Florence Az., she lived her whole life in Gladwin County. Jane married Fred 
Hooper, June 16, 1968 in Beaverton. She had been employed by Robins Restaurant 
in Gladwin.
   Besides her husband she is survived by three sons, Fred Hooper Jr. and 
George Hooper, both of Beaverton, Jack and wife Jennifer Hooper of Gladwin; 
one daughter, Susan and husband Randy Kautz of Farwell; her mother, Abbie Dunn 
of Coolidge, Az.; three brothers, seven sisters; three grandchildren; and 
several nieces and nephews.
   Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Moore officiating. Burial was in Tobacco Township 
(Dale) Cemetery in Beaverton.
