Doris M. Horn, 78, of 4808 Townhall Rd., Beaverton, died suddenly Monday, Aug. 
13, 1990, in the Gladwin Area Hospital. Born in Lenawee County, March 20, 
1912, she had spent her lifetime in the Gladwin County. Mrs. Horn was a member 
of the Dale United Methodist Church. The former Doris McKimmy, she was married 
to Clifford Horn, Jan. 11, 1935, in Angola, Ind. Besides her husband, she is 
survived by 2 sons, Soloman of Lennon and James of Beaverton; one daughter, 
Mrs. Vance (Jacqueline) Southwell of Mt. Morris; 11 grandchildren and 4 great 
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, 5 brothers ad 3 
sisters.
   Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Janet Larner will officiate and burial will be in 
the Tobacco Township Cemetery.
