Lee “Jerry” Howard , 67, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away Feb. 19, 2003 at 
The Laurels in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan following a lengthy illness. He was born 
Aug. 16, 1935 to Percy and Elizabeth (Shaw) Howard in Midland, Michigan. He 
worked as a laborer for Brown Hoist in Bay City, Michigan, and lived in 
Gladwin County for most of his life. He was a member of the Albright Shores 
Eagles Aerie 3655. 
   He is survived by sisters Gladys Whitehead of Midland, Harriet Porterfield 
of Midland, Noretta Collins of Whittemore, and Mary Vassas of Chelsea; brother 
Pete Howard of Rhodes; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services and 
visitation were held on Friday, Feb. 21 at Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton. The 
Albright Shores Eagles Aerie 3655 officiated. Burial took place in Tobacco 
Township (Dale) Cemetery.
