Born Nov. 13, 1914 in Beaverton, she was the daughter of Joseph and Sophia Santa. She was a lifelong resident of the Beaverton area, a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, and Billings Township Senior Citizens group. Ann married Warren Brushaber in 1938. He preceded her in death in 1951. She then married Stanley Hunter in October 1957. He preceded her in death in 1969. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara and husband Richard Boyer and Betty and husband Joseph Windover, all of Midland; one son, Thomas and wife Mert Brushaber of Houghton Lake; three sisters, Margaret and husband Jack Truckle, and Helen Leddy, all of Saginaw, and Sylvia Anderson of Texas; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Santa of Beaverton; and one brother-in-law, Pt Schluckbier of Reese. She was preceded in death by one sister, Irene Schluckbier; and two brothers, Joe and Albert Santa. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin with Father Patrick Jankowiak officiating. Burial was in Dale Cemetery in Beaverton. Memorials may be made to Hospice.
