SERVICES TODAY FOR BILLY HUNTER

   Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral 
Home for David William (Billy) Hunter, 79, who died Sunday after an illness of 
one year. The Rev. Aaron Hyde officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. 
   Born in Tobacco Township on August 17, 1884, he lived most of his lifetime 
in Gladwin County. He worked for the Detroit Street Railway and the State 
Highway for many years, and served one term as Gladwin County clerk, 1913-
1916. He was a member of Gladwin F. & A. M. Lodge No. 397.
   Surving him is a niece, Mrs. Walter Ross, of Beaverton.
