Huntley, 78, of 315 Campbell St., Beaverton, died suddenly Saturday, Aug. 22, 1992, in Saginaw General Hospital. Born in Bismaric Township, Feb. 17, 1914, she moved to Gladwin County in 1959 from Hawks. She was a member of the Beaverton VFW Post 7303 Auxiliary. The former Helen Freeburger, she was married to Clair Huntley on April 30, 1930, in Alpena. He preceded her in death July 9, 1972. Surviving are 2 sons, James of Flint and Earl of Clio; 3 daughters, Mrs. James (Thelma) McInerey of Birch Run, Mrs. August (Ester) Achtabowski of Glennie and Mrs. Harry (Stella) Szymanski of Metz; 3 sisters, Margaret Huffman and Freda Martz of Rogers City and Florence Freeburger of Ossineke; life friend Clyde Polmanteer of Gladwin; 43 grandchildren, 92 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother at birth. Services were held today, Wednesday, at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. Deacon Harry Mailley officiated and burial was in the Tobacco Township Cemetery.
