Christine Jenkins, 93, of Las Vegas, died Friday, July 9, 1993, after a long 
illness. Born in Beaverton, July 2, 1900, she moved to Las Vegas 5 years ago 
from Kalamazoo and Beaverton. She was a retired civilian secretary in the Air 
Force. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the VFW 
Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and N.A.R.F.E. The former Christine 
Welker, she was married to Arthur Jenkins and he preceded her in death.
   Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Katherine) Hagtrum of Las Vegas, 
Nev.; one sister, Ann Grady of Troy; 2 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
   Rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Donald Keen will officiate and burial will be in the 
Beaverton Cemetery. Visitation will be after 7 p.m. Thursday.
