Emil H. Jensen, 78, of 1206 W. Howard Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, Dec. 31, at 
his home following a long illness. Born in Hamburg, West Germany, June 9, 
1906, he came to Gladwin County in 1971 from Detroit. He was a butcher for 
Hygrade Food Products. Mr. Jensen was married to the former Hildegard Bimber 
June 6, 1951, in Detroit.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Emil of Rockford and Gustav of 
Mt. Clemens; one sister, Frieda Riefling of Hamburg, West Germany; and 2 
grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
   Rites were held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Sisson-Mathews Funeral Home. 
The Rev. Roy Glasgow officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
