Mrs. Beulah G. Johnson, 70, 214 Knox St., Beaverton, died Wednesday, June 3, 
in Tolfree Memorial Hospital, West Branch after a short illness. Born in 
Charlevoix on June 28, 1910, she had lived in Butman Township for 27 years 
until moving to Beaverton a month ago. The former Beulah Mindel, she was 
married to Charles Johnson on September 14, 1919, in Petosky.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Lee of Detroit; one 
daughter, Mrs. Shonnette McAuliffe of Livonia; one brother, Wilbur Mindel of 
Texas; 3 sisters, Mrs. Lila Parr of LaPuente, Calif., Mrs. Bertha Duncan fo 
Los Alamitos, Calif. and Mrs. Agnes Schwerdt of Downey, Calif.; 7 
grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A son, Charles Jr., preceded her in 
death in 1971.
   Services were held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Aeron Davies officiated and burial was in the Beaverton 
Cemetery.
