A. E. Jones died at his home in Beaverton Dec. 19, aged 64 years. Gladwin 
County Record dated 12-27/1917 Column - 3 Page - 8

   Jones--- A. E. Jones died at his home in Beaverton, Dec. 19, 1917, of 
pneumonia, aged 63 years, 7 months and 25 days. He was born in New York state 
and was united with Miss Sarah Aldrich, to which union were born six sons and 
two daughters. His wife, who has been blind ten years, one daughter and 
fifteen grandchildren survive him. He was converted in the Methodist church 
and later united with the Friends church at Adrian, Mich., of which he was a 
member at his death. Eight years ago he bought a farm in Beaverton township. 
Funeral sermon was preached by Rev. C. B. Frampton with prayer by Rev. Perry 
McKimmy. Interment in Beaverton Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 01-
